Viv Green
Viv began his AV career in the late 1980s with installation work in Tauranga. After relocating to Auckland in 1993, he expanded his experience with Axent Audio and Sound Images, and founded Resolution AV in 1998.
As Managing Director, CFO and majority shareholder, he led RESAV for 15 years, establishing it as a leading AV integrator in New Zealand’s corporate and tertiary sectors.
After selling the company in 2013, Viv worked across hospitality, AV distribution (local and international), independent AV consultancy, business mentoring, AV production, and returned to a sales and marketing management contract role in AV integration for the past 5 years.
Partnering with Michael, he co-founded theone77effect to combine complementary skills into a consultancy that supports end-users, manufacturers, service providers, architects, educators, builders, integrators and software vendors—locally and globally—to drive business success.
Michael Stanton-Jones
Michael has 26 years’ experience specialising in AV solutions, installation and service. He has worked across multiple global organisations in both client-side and service-provider roles, supporting some of the largest conferencing networks in operation today. His work has included global architectural design, product procurement, service delivery and training.
This breadth of experience has given him a deep understanding of the value of an end-to-end strategy that spans IT, AV, finance and C‑suite (board-level) stakeholders.
After 15 years in Europe, Michael returned to New Zealand and co-founded a consultancy with Viv. Together they are passionate about providing clear, practical guidance on audiovisual concepts and technologies.
